You'll be fine. | 2019
A creative exploration of anxiety in the context of a neo-liberal culture. You’ll be fine is a series of three artists’ books that provide a platform for the reader to engage with and experience some of the realities of living with an anxiety disorder. Each book examines a different aspect of the illness, detailing some of the neurological processes and symptomatic responses in a more expressive and metaphorical way. In moving away from the linearity of traditional resources, You’ll be fine seeks to open up a more empathetic avenue of communication between anxiety sufferers and non-sufferers, and aims to tackle some of the damaging stigmas and fictions that surround mental health in contemporary society.
